In the past months Locksafe has delivered the latest version of the electronic left-luggage locker system Locksafe IV to 29 stations in the Netherlands.Altogether 136 locker systems with 2,500 lockers have been installed by our Dutch partner BAVAK.

As a special feature, all systems work cash-less. Payment is effected by Chipknip and Chipper debit cards which are very common in the Netherlands. In larger stations of the Dutch Rail, credit cards of VISA and Mastercard are also accepted for paying the lockers' rental fee.

All systems in the Netherlands are networked with each other. The server is located in the main office in Utrecht where all revenues are administrated, all events are recorded and evaluated . Thus, via his computer, the operator is able to change configurations like e.g. rental prices and duration or access authorisations.

In March 2007 the last 40 Locksafe locker systems with 863 lockers were installed in the redesigned station in Amsterdam.
