Students have large numbers of small, heavy items to carry around, such as books and laptops. They need somewhere secure to leave them whilst attending classes. LockTec have designed multi-access electronic lockers for use by the students at Regent’s College in London. The students pay for a day’s hire, and can access their locker as often as they wish during that time. After the cut-off time, if they haven’t cleared their locker, there are extra charges to pay. Not only do the lockers therefore provide an essential service to the students, but they also provide the College with a useful source of revenue, whilst avoiding the costs of other, manned storage options.
