Within the rebuilding of the central bus station Bayreuth (Upper Frankonia, Germany), a fully electronic left-luggage locker system of the latest LOCKSAFE generation was realized.
The "old" key lockers were removed as they do no longer fulfil the latest requirements.
When selecting the type of lockers, main focus was put on design, functionality and guaranteed future of the system. Thus the reliable and local partner LockTec GmbH could store.
The architect planned the systems in a separate room within the building. The lockers and the user station were painted with a special iron mica lacquering in order to perfectly fit to the whole concept of the building. The partition panels and connections to the wall were also delivered by LockTec.
In addition to the left-luggage lockers, extra small lockers were delivered that are exclusively reserved for the bus drivers. Thus, with a separate personnel key, the drivers have the possibility to store their valueables safe and free-of-charge.
