First "Packstation" in the Netherlands

On June 5, 2002 the first automated system for parcels developed by LockTec / New Logix was put into operation in the Netherlands. Parcels and goods can be delivered to and dispatched from the system. All in all another 9 systems are installed for several months of testing. In the Netherlands the parcel stations are operated by Van Gend & Loos a subsidiary of Deutsche Post.
