Locksafe parcelbox

is the perfect supplement to our letter boxes, the Locksafe mailbox.

Each recipient of mail usually has an own letter box. In most cases, this locker is large enough for thicker letter envelopes, but not for packets and parcels. In case a parcel is delivered, the customer usually will find a card of notification in his mail box that he can pick up his parcel at an attended post counter which, of course, is not open all-around-the-clock. Thus under certain circumstances the recipient of the parcel has to come to the postal office once again during the regular opening times in order to finally get his delivery.

We have developed our Locksafe parcelbox for especially this well-known problem.

At our system, the customer will find in his letter box a card of notification with a PIN-number. At the parcel station he will type in this PIN and the respective locker with his parcel will immediately open. Thus the customer will always receive his parcel when he picks up his letter mail. He is not dependant on the opening times of the parcel counter.

At the deposition side this PIN-number is automatically generated and printed out. The employee only has to put the parcel in the parcel box and the note with the PIN-number into the customer's post box.

Parcelbox saves the costs of operating the parcel counter by the postal service. Moreover the customer is satisfied as he may pick up his parcels whenever he wants. Even at night and at week-ends.  

Parcelbox can be expanded in a way that the customer can also get a text message that a parcel is ready for pick-up in his parcel box. Even the pick-up PIN-number can be communicated by text message.
