Locksafe 2000

Locksafe 2000 is a centrally controlled, electronic locker system.

Several lockers with different sizes each can be connected to an electronic paypoint.

Locksafe 2000 is used in a lot of different areas:

• for the deposit of luggage
• for the deposit of shopping bags in department stores
• for the automated delivery and pick-up of goods, as so-called last-mile solution
• for the administration of goods as sparepart service

You will find Locksafe 2000 not only in shopping centres and department stores for the deposit of hand- and shopping bags but also in amusement parks, museums and in order to take care of the luggage of pilgrams around the mosques of Makkah and Medinah.

The luggage lockers are made from 1,5 mm zinc-coated and powder painted steel-sheet. The doors are double walled and the lockers' floors are made of 1,5 mm stainless steel. Thus the system is very solid and secure.

Although for the storage of luggage in areas that are endangered by vandalism like public stations, we recommend our system Locksafe IV.

Function:

When hiring the customer selects an open locker, deposits his luggage and closes the door which will be locked until the hiring fee is paid at the paypoint. Depeding on the version, the customer will either get a transponder chip or a barcode ticket as key to the system. The big advantage of this electronic key is that in case of a loss the lock does not need to be replaced.

If the customer wants to collect his luggage, he will insert his transponder chip (resp. his barcode ticket) into the paypoint and the locker will open automatically. In case he has overdrawn the rental time, he has to pay an exceeding fee.

The user station can be equipped with a payment system for the acceptance of coins, banknotes and credit cards.

Even pledge solutions, e.g. for the use in shopping centres, are possible with Locksafe 2000.

Especially with regard to the locking version, Locksafe 2000 is a flexible system. At certain fields of application it might become necessary that e.g. the doors are generally closed and locked. The door unlocks only if a locker will be needed and is set free. This requirement is demanded e.g. at last-mile solutions.

In the meantime the corresponding software has been developed for a lot of special applications of Locksafe 2000, like e.g. the storage of crew luggage at Lufthansa in Frankfurt and Munich. In this case the personnel's card is also the key to the system. A rental fee will be only debited from the card after exceeding the time limit.
